I was so excited to learn that a new model of the Washington DC Temple was put on display in the temple visitors center in DC. Mariah just happened to go there with an investigator 3 days after it was revealed. She didn't know beforehand that they had built the display but said that it reminded her of home when she walked in and saw it. She mentioned that it reminds her of the one that they have on display of the Salt Lake Temple on Temple Square. Check out the pictures of the display below. BEAUTIFUL!!
I have attached the article that shares some info about the display. It mentioned that there are many people who see the temple from the highway and stop to see the building. A lot of people are disappointed when they find that they are not able to go inside. So, hopefully this model will be able to satisfy their curiosity somewhat. Hopefully they will be able to at least understand that its not secret, just sacred. Click the link below to view the article.
